1. Our Price Match Promise
We want you to get the best price available for your private medical insurance. If you find a genuine like for like quote that is cheaper than the quote you received through Private Health Compare, we will match the price, subject to these terms.
2. What counts as like for like
The competitor quote must match:
- Insurer name and product name
- Level of cover, outpatient limits, and hospital or treatment lists
- Excess amount and any additional options
- Underwriting method, for example full medical underwriting or moratorium
- Payment frequency and term
3. Who we will match
We will match genuine written quotes provided directly by UK insurers or by UK FCA regulated intermediaries. The quote must be addressed to you. It must be dated within the last 30 days and must be capable of verification.
4. Eligibility
- Applies to new individual policies for UK residents obtained through us
- Not available for group or corporate schemes
- Not available for quotes that result from targeted promotions, staff rates, membership deals, or closed user group discounts
- Not available where we reasonably believe the request is fraudulent or abusive
5. How to claim a price match
Simply inform your adviser over the telephone, they will then request you to send across your quotation and they will happily apply the price match promise.
6. Important notes
- We reserve the right to request further information to verify the quote
- If the competitor adjusts or withdraws its quote, our price match may no longer apply
- A price match relates to premium only and does not include competitor incentives, vouchers, or non-price benefits
7. £50 Amazon voucher
We offer a £50 Amazon voucher once your policy has been on cover for 12 months.
Conditions:
- Policy must remain active and paid up to date for 12 consecutive months
- One voucher per policy, not per person covered
- The voucher will be issued electronically to the email address used during your application within 30 days after the 12 month point
- If a policy is cancelled, lapses, or is in arrears before the 12 month point, the voucher will not be issued
- We may request reasonable evidence of continued cover
- The voucher has no cash alternative
- Amazon is not a sponsor of this promotion
- You are responsible for any tax implications
8. Conflicts or errors
If there is a conflict between these Price Match Promise terms and any other statements on our site or in our marketing, these terms take precedence.
9. Changes and withdrawal
We may change or withdraw the Price Match Promise or the voucher offer at any time. Any approved price match prior to a change will be honoured in line with the approval provided.
